The 2027 HSL Properties Tucson Jazz Festival will be January 15-23, 2027. Once again, we will be in multiple venues throughout Tucson and hold our annual FREE street festival, the Downtown Jazz Fiesta, on MLK Day.

We appreciate your interest in volunteering for the festival. YOU, our VOLUNTEER AMBASSADORS are an integral part of TJF operations and the ultimate success of our event.

Watch for follow up emails in late October 2026 with details on orientation and available days/times to lend a hand.

Volunteer Ambassador Expectations

TJF Volunteer Ambassadors are eager to work with our TJF Patrons, spread their excitement about the festival and Tucson, provide direction and encourage downtown visitors to attend more TJF shows. We are looking for fellow TJF Members who are caring, outgoing, passionate fans of the community, the festival, live entertainment and perhaps even the genre of jazz, although that isn’t mandatory.

We request you provide at least 4-6 hours of volunteer time throughout the festival and that you are a TJF Member.
