Once again, we will be in multiple venues throughout downtown Tucson and hold our annual FREE street festival, the Downtown Jazz Fiesta, on MLK Day. We appreciate your interest in volunteering for the festival. YOU, our VOLUNTEER AMBASSADORS are an integral part of TJF operations and the ultimate success of our event. Volunteer Ambassador Expectations TJF Volunteer Ambassadors are eager to work with our TJF Patrons, spread their excitement about the festival and Tucson, provide direction and encourage downtown visitors to attend more TJF shows. We are looking for fellow TJF Members who are caring, outgoing, passionate fans of the community, the festival, live entertainment and perhaps even the genre of jazz, although that isn’t mandatory. We request you provide at least 4-6 hours of volunteer time throughout the festival and that you are a TJF Member. Possible Volunteer Ambassador Duties In-office pre-festival preparation On-site set-up and tear-down of merchandise areas Merchandise sales Information specialist (i.e., answer questions, give directions) Volunteer Ambassador Benefits Your work supports a great festival You will meet wonderful people You will receive a custom TJF Volunteer Ambassador T-shirt and an access pass for free entry to select TJF shows.
