Nicole Zuraitis TJF2027 Two-time GRAMMY® Award-winning vocalist, pianist, songwriter, arranger, and producer Nicole Zuraitis brings her remarkable artistry to the Fox Tucson Theatre for an unforgettable collaboration with the University of Arizona Studio Jazz Orchestra. Celebrated as one of the most complete musicians in contemporary jazz, Zuraitis has earned international acclaim not only for her extraordinary voice, but also for her award-winning compositions and inventive large-ensemble writing. Her landmark album How Love Begins, produced by Christian McBride, made history when it became the first GRAMMY® Award-winning Best Jazz Vocal Album written and arranged entirely by the winning artist, while her recent recordings continue to establish her as one of today’s most important creative voices.

Joined by the acclaimed University of Arizona Studio Jazz Orchestra—one of the Southwest’s premier collegiate jazz ensembles—Zuraitis expands her music with the rich colors, power, and excitement of a full jazz orchestra. Featuring her celebrated original music alongside her GRAMMY®-winning approach to jazz orchestration, this special performance showcases the artistry that has made her one of jazz’s most sought-after vocalists, pianists, and arrangers.

More than a concert, it is a celebration of contemporary jazz at its most vibrant, where exceptional songwriting, masterful orchestration, and world-class musicianship come together on one stage.

“Supreme talent… a first-rate songwriter, powerhouse vocalist, and grade A pianist!” — All About Jazz Nicole Zuraitis

“The multi-talented Zuraitis soars!” — Will Friedwald, The New York Sun|
